Jobs Data Lifts Yields as Bitcoin Whales Book Record Profits

Strong U.S. jobs figures pushed Treasury yields higher while short-term Bitcoin whales realised $9.07 billion in profits, according to reports on Tuesday.

The Wall Street Journal reported on 2026-09-08 that Treasury yields and Federal Reserve rate-hike bets rose after strong U.S. jobs data.

Separately, en.bloomingbit.io reported on the same day that Bitcoin short-term whale profits hit a record $9.07 billion, a development the outlet said raised selling risk.
