Strategy Buys Bitcoin Again as BlackRock's Funds Top Revenue
The firm disclosed a purchase of 4,603 bitcoin for about $370 million, ending a ten-week pause, while bitcoin ETFs became BlackRock's single largest source of revenue in 2025.

Strategy disclosed on 31 August 2026 that it had bought 4,603 bitcoin for about $370 million, its first purchase since late June and the end of a ten-week pause. The buy takes its holdings to 845,050 BTC. In the same disclosure it reported repurchasing $152 million of its variable-rate preferred stock.
